I was foolin' around on NFL.com, I started looking in past draft, who went #16, just to see what kind of talent are available at that spot. You know what, the list is pretty impressive, check it out :
2005 : Travis Johnson
2004 : Shane Andrews
2003 : Troy Polamalu
2002 : William Green
2001 : Santana Moss
2000 : Julian Peterson
1999 : Jevon Kearse

Beside Green, the rest are all pretty darn good players. So i think the best player available approach could provide us a good player.

Thanks for the info bro

I think we will get a quality player with this pick. Someone good always falls to the mid 1st round that should have went way higher. I'm personally hoping for Cutler/Huff/Greenway.

that is a good stat i would love to get anyone of that calibur except green of course but we're not in the market for a running back.

Wouldn't the Lions be better off getting a Veteren Qb and drafting someone on their defense or Oline with that pick? Its pretty much impossible to know what Millen is going to do, he has no plan when he drafts.

notice a consistency in the 16th pick? Top DEFENSIVE players. all too often teams reach early for supposed offensive stars and let top defenders fall.

let Huff or Greenway fall and I can see Saban taking one of them.

I too would like to see Peterson in Miami next season.

Peterson, Crowder, Zach and Greenway - the monsters of Midway have moved to Miami.
