none of these teams had a total shut down corner MAYYYBE Asante Samuel, Ty Law as Not really shut down, Rhonde was a good corner not a great one. Balt has playmakers all over D. But most these teams had very good safety play. We didnt need to sign a big name corner that wasnt gonna put us over the top. The front office knows what they are doing and they are putting this team together the right way and not spending crazy money on players whose impact would not match the money.

Ty Law and Chris McAllister were top corners when they were on NE and Baltimore respectively. And I disagree with you about Barber, he was excellent.

I'm not saying that you are wrong, I agree that having a shut down corner is not an absolute must. But most of those teams were stronger at CB then Miami is right now. We are lying to ourselves if we say that the corner position has been solved.

That being said, Parcells and company will address it when they find the right guys at the right price. It's pretty clear that we are still rebuilding and we have a way to go. Progress is all we can really ask.
