If Tony Sparano started Pat Devlin, he'd never be hired in any capacity in the NFL again. The guy has to at least think about his next job here, whatever that may be.

look I have no problem with signing Devlin from the practice squad and if he earns the start in practice fine play the guy but at this point he hasnt even earned a roster spot. He could become a good player but right now to start him would not help us or him. No team unless they lost multiple qb's to injury has ever done anything like this. You start Devlin now and you probably destroy this kid and his possible potential. Hell I was a big fan of going after josh portis and he actually made an NFL roster and still wouldnt start him there either.
