Pat White highlights

Just Saying! 2nd Round hasn't been good!!

I remember the John Beck highlights too and two years later we all know the story!

White is 6 ft a buck 90 and runs a 4.55 forty. He has the speed of your average safety. Some of you need to calm down if you think this guy is going to make that big of an impact. Look at Reggie Bush who was a highlight real in college but can barely break a tackle in the NFL.

this will never end...you have to like what you see in that video but I'm hoping he can do some of that in the NFL and if he doesn't do that on every single game some people on this board will say that he's a bust.......he can score a TD in half the games he plays in and it still won't be enogh for some people on this board.

Ozzy rules!!

In most of those highlights White is running the football. I guess it's easier to forget that NFL defenses are just slightly more athletic than those of Louisville and Rutgers.
He won't make it look that easy, I guarantee it.

This kid is electrifying and can easily score any time he touches the football.

Sounds an awful lot like what all the Ted Ginn defenders were saying two years ago. "This guy is electric. A human highlight reel. He's a threat to score from anywhere on the field. Blah blah blah blah blah."

Two seasons later we have all of 6 TDs from Mr. Human Highlight Reel.

I'm holding out hope that you Pat White guys are right. And I'm not trying to be negative. But you have to admit that the FO gave us the same spiel when they picked Ginn at #9.

Did we draft Pat White's family too??

Well Ginn has proven he can score from anywhere on the field. If it werent for 3 different holding calls, he would have returned 3 KOs by now. He's scored on a couple passes, a reverse, a punt return, (should have score 3 kick returns). I mean, we weren't wrong.

we want more, sure. but overall he's proven he can be pretty "lightening in a bottle."

Not saying Pat White will be like that, but comparing him to Ginn as if Ginns done nothing here is wrong.

Pat White is no Ted Ginn..thank goodness. White is an offensive threat who isn't AFRAID to take a hit. Ginn avoids contact whenever possible. That's the difference in playmakers! I followed White his entire 4 years at WVU and he proved on the field that he has what it takes to make it in the NFL whether as a WR or a QB. He always addresses the media that it's a TEAM effort and not what he does alone. I know he hasn't taken a NFL snap, but why not have any faith in the kid? By the way, the FO that picked Ginn is NO longer with this organization nor is 90% of the draft by that FO....

I like Ted Ginn. I think if the Dolphins ever decide to get a #1 WR he will make an excellent #2 and will have a chance to show his true worth.

However you have to admit there were the same YouTube clips and talk about how easy it would be for us to use him and for him to score from anywhere. And while he isn't a bust, he's hardly set the world on fire.

My point is this is the NFL, it's not easy for anyone to score.

Curious as to what you saw that made you think he can play WR in the NFL. I'm not doubting you, but everything I have heard is that he has zero experience at the position. To be honest, I'm hoping against hope that we make him our Hines Ward or Randel El.

By the way, the FO that picked Ginn is NO longer with this organization...

I think we can all be thankful for that.

PS--I'm sure you've heard it before, but... Best. Avatar. Ever.

What about a 5'9" 203lb Steve Slaton? Guess we'll just have to wait and see what Pat White can do.
