What NFL quarterback, calls a timeout, that they DON'T HAVE, with less than 3 minutes left in a game that you are only a touchdown down from tying the game? I'm sure someone told him there were no timeouts left and even if they didn't, shouldn't you know?
We don't even need to talk about the missed throws, bad choices in the pocket and guys really, HE looked like the rookie today!
And don't start with the wide receivers. The ball goes from the center to the quarterback, what HE does makes what follows. A rifle for an arm means nothing unless it is sighted in.
That's all...

I didn't care for the White pick. But we have more problems than a rookie Qb who made a mistake. Let's talk about wide receivers catching or the defense being able to stop long passes.

Calling timeout with none, thats a Michigan thing, just ask C.Webber! /jk

Anyways, the team is still young. Henne, White, both need time to grow and learn. Delusional fans expected a return trip to the playoffs, when the fins only got there last year from benefitting from playing the weakest divisions in football out of conference which were over half the wins. Last years team would likely be no better or worse against this schedule.

This was a 1-15 team that still has bad personnel decisions and hangover from that squad. It takes a few years and drafts, people just need to learn to be patient.

Wasn't it chad henne that took that timeout?

Yeah, but I can see why you're confused since the OP put White's name in the title, but used the post to bash Henne. It's just another lame thread meant to hype up White while running down Henne. I guess that one decent running play from a quarterback carries more weight than I thought. Now some want White to replace our young qb that can actually throw the ball lol.
For the record, I'm all for putting White in as a situational player, but let's not pretend that he's actually going to take Henne's job.

You bash Henne and hint that we should consider White whose only pass in the game was was overthrown by like 10 yards. Henne made a boneheaded play by calling that time out, but lets not forget that play call may not have come about had Hartline not dropped any easy pass.

Man shame on McNabb for not remembering the overtime rules.....

Oh wait...he is like a 10 year veteran...get what I am saying?

I dont know why ppl say he's innaccurate?

He puts the ball in places so fast and hard that only the WR can get to it? Like what passes are you talking about that is so horribley inaccurate?

Automatic reaction to seeing the play clock was expiring. The real question is why would Sparano use the timeouts as he did. We would be much better off having all 3 timeouts and 2:00 left on the clock than 0 timeouts and over 3 minutes left. Timeouts allow you to kill the clock, use to avoid a penalty, and we didn't want to leave Brady much time on the clock had we tied it up.

If that is all you got to rip Henne on, give it up. Pretty damn good for an inexperienced guy who doesn't have WRs to help him out.

all of them according to the seasoned qb coaches on this forum...

Sounds like some of you missed the poster's point. He is saying consider White as starter instead of Henne. Not sure that's the way I'd go but I was glad to see PW play a larger roll today. Loved the spread.

White has yet to complete a pass in the NFL. Gimme me a break. He got one lucky run today that actually gained some yards out of how carries to date? He is the one that is innacurate. Henne has looked pretty dam good to me for someone with all of 5 starts and a crappy set of WRs, TEs, and a lame defense.

In fact, I hate when they yank Henne out to run the WildPat. They continue to pull Henne out when he starts to get in a groove. My guess is they have to try to justify spending a 2nd round pick and use White somehow.

According to some, White is destined for greatness based on a single 33 yard run. Never mind his size and his wanting to run first, or the fact that he can't hit a barn door from 10 yards away. White is destined for greatness.
