How many QB's can a team dress for a game? Going by Pat Whites contract it don't look like they are paying him QB money, is he going to be officially repositioned maybe?
 
As many as a team wants, there's no rule about the number of positions just players making the 53 man roster. Traditionally teams dress 3 and have 1 emergency back-up that is a WR that played some QB in highschool.

I think you can only dress two QB i know what you mean i'm wondering the same thing!!!!!!!!

He'll probably be listed as the 2nd QB because if he's listed as the 3rd, and comes in before the 4th quarter, neither Pennington or Henne can come back in to the game.

Exactly what do you mean they're not paying him QB money? He's getting enchanced 2nd rounder pick QB money.. I'm missing your point..
 
You are allowed to have as many as you'd like however there is an "emergency QB" spot that functions differently. If you decide to name just 2 QB's active for a gameday, you may name a "Emergency QB". He is allowed to enter the game if there is an injury, however, once he is "activated" during the game, the injured QB (whether he is #1 or 2) is not allowed to return under any circumstances. The Dolphins have an interesting dilemma I will describe int he next post.

1. Just name all three QB's active for each game. Any of them can enter at any time.

2. Name Pennington the starter and activate Pat White as the #2 QB and list Henne as the 3rd or Emergency QB. This way, Pat White can come in whenever to run the wildcat. As for Henne, he will only play in case of injury to Pennington. If he is activated during the game, then Pennigton is not allowed to come back.

Neither is White in this second case.
