I plan on buying an authentic jersey of pat white and I was wondering what his number was going to be. Does any one know? I looked on the nfl web sight and there selling them as #1 but I dont know if thats right or not.

They wont cut him, he might change his number when other players are cut, making other numbers available for him to choose. But I doubt he changes his number.
 
the only number he wants would probably be 5.
That's Carpenter's, who won't be cut, there's not even competetion FA no names here fighting for a kicking job. A punting job with Jy Bond yes, but not kicking..

Don't be sure though, Long wore 79 last OTA until Drew Mormino was cut.

I'd give an 80% chance Pat White stay with that number for a career but you never know..
 
how tight would it be to list him as a WR, and have him be 85 or something.. then when we need him as a fulltime QB because of possible injuries, our QB would be wearing a WR's number... COOOL MAN!
 
He was 5 at WVU. He's 6 on miamidolphins.com. I'm betting on 6 unless he works a deal with Carpenter which nothing has been written about so seems unlikely.
