Rotoworld states that had visited Rams, but they signed Sensibaugh, now that they lost the Vikings defensive back to Bucs, any word on Miami's chances or interest?

Would be a solid addition but he's not an old ass defensive lineman so we probably have no interest

I would really like for Miami to pick him up.

High upside player, imo.

Miami needs more explosive, athletic players all across the board. When you can pick up one who is flying below the radar, you do so.

And you cut players like Jamar Taylor in the process.

He's my top target left on the target. If we're willing to give up the comp pick we'd likely get for Shelby, a 6th rounder, I'd do it for him. Sterling Moore or Nolan Carroll would be guys I'd look at too. I think we'll see more movement after the CJ situation is resolved.

Signing him would most likely make us give up our 4th/5th we would of got for miller

• Last offseason, the Dolphins tried to sign virtually every player who visited and succeeded in signing most. That hasn't been the case so far, partly because the Dolphins are being very deliberate and partly because they have been waiting for Denver's decision on whether to match Miami's offer for CJ Anderson. That decision is due by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Defensive end Chris Clemons visited today, and the Dolphins made no offer when he left. They told him, essentially, that they will get back to him. Meanwhile, Clemons is planning other visits. Among defensive ends, the Dolphins also are considering Jason Jones, who visited last Saturday.

• At least 18 cornerbacks have come off the board in free agency, and the Dolphins still haven't signed anyone to play opposite Byron Maxwell, acquired by trade from Philadelphia.

The Dolphins simply didn't place a significant monetary value on nearly any corner in this free agent class.

Here's most of those still available: Leon Hall (played for Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph in Cincinnati, but 31), Nolan Carroll (Dolphins have called), Patrick Robinson (Miami called early but wasn't interested at the price he's asking), Jayron Hosley, Jerraud Powers (Dolphins hadn't pursued as of Monday morning), Alan Ball, declining Antonio Cromartie, Charles Tillman, Tarell Brown, Trumaine McBride, Terence Newman, Cassius Vaughn, Mike Jenkins, Chris Owens and Greg Toler.

Bottom line: Dolphins fans better hope they get the pre-2015 version of Maxwell, that Miami lands a quality corner at No. 13 overall (perhaps Ohio State's Eli Apple or Clemson's Mackenzie Alexander) or in the second round, and that Bobby McCain, Tony Lippett and Jamar Taylor make major strides.

Excellent post Albert………….doesn't sound encouraging at all………..do you all think this was the philosophy from the start? I was under the impression that they were planning to sign at least two defensive backs from Cinn, packman Jones, and one of their safety's or other corner like Hall…………..and yes try to get a DB in the draft, but not depend on the draft particularly when they dropped to 13 th for the draft……….that they would use the draft for linebacker, (MIKE) of (SAM) and or defensive end. I personally am not a fan of Tannenbaum, and to hear that the guy is already mouthing off about how the 2016 Dolphins will kick the 2015 butt, is discouraging and somewhat delusional.

I think they set numbers going in for instance Miller at 5, figured they would lose the rest to FA to be honest.

They had numbers set for FA of what they thought players at positions were worth value wise and didn't want to go above those numbers.

So the way I see it they either undervalued the market, or you can say their sticking to the plan and are happy to get the compensation picks versus what type of value they would get in return for these FA's if signed. You can pick how you see it?

One thing is clear at this point, don't really expect an improved football team on the field in 2016, too many pieces missing.

I'd gladly be willing to forgo a comp pick in the 4th/5th to have a chance for a decent player
