while i'm watching the USC game, where Turner came from, is he really that bad to not be active and used during a game?

personally, i think our coaches are too hard headed, they think what they are doing is WORKING. I bet the kid would light it up, then those hard heads would have EGG all over there faces.

You have to earn it. Nothing is given to you in the NFL. The idea is you want a player like Patrick Turner to work his way onto the field, and then once he gets there, never look back.

coaching staffs make selection mistakes all the time. Maybe Turner doesn't deserve any playing time, but Ginn has played about as badly as any WR can, yet he's still out there. We don't seem to play Wake or Clemons enough. Crowder's still running around like an *** out there. Coaches are wrong all the time, but they've been chosen as the decision makers and you just hope the good ones outweigh the bad. Personally, I think unless Turner is putting zero effort into practice he should be given some chances.

What happens when the decision makers are where they are due to bad decisions

look at hartline

11 games into the season and he is still working to gain the coaches trust

we are too impatient

I saw the rookie Knox totally screw up Cutler earlier this year. Steve Smith is still letting his QB down once in a while. the coaches have to know that the WR's are as advanced as Henne so that they will be on the same page and catching up to Henne is no mean feat.

Turner can't get off the LOS and is evidently a slower learner than Hartline.

When coaches suck at making decisions, bad things tend to happen.. Ted Ginn (first round), Jason Allen, Jamar Fletcher, Pat White and this is only draftwise...

I, for one, am so FREAKING HAPPY that none of you are part of our front office or coaching staff. Just reading gives me the chills. lol

So, you attend every practice and know this, do you?

If he wasn't producing to a playing standard in practice, what makes anyone think he will automatically produce at gametime.

I was thinking about this today. There are some players that don't practice well and yet they play good in games....not saying Turner practice bad or not and I'm not saying he'd play good in the games but why not take a chance at this point and find out what he's got?....We have 5 games left and I think they should give him a chance to show what he can or can not do in games.

Ozzy rules!!

If you have to "earn it" then why is Ted Ginn a starter??????
Notice, after his bad games, he didn't see the field nearly as much.;)
Furthermore, there really isn't much competition. We need to have a speed threat on the field because none of our other WR's are even close to as fast as Ginn.

Weren't we hearing how great of a practice player he was and didn't he play great in preseason. Realistically it takes 3 years until you can judge a WR. How is ramses barden working out for the Giants. Give it time! He could end up being the best WR in the draft.

Trust the tuna!
