This thread should be an interesting bump come mid-season.

Patriots D #8 in the league for points allowed with only 19 and #9 in the league for yards allowed per play with 5.3.

Anyone thinking the Patriots d would fall off was misled. That offense controls the game and sets the defense up for success. Every game they have scored a TD in the first half on offense and in most games they have 2 offensive TD's by halftime. This puts pressure on the other teams offense to score and sets up the Pats defense for success.
