I just realized that the Patriots have an advantage over us when we meet on the 23rd. They play this thursday and will have extra time to prepare for us and you know how good they have been when they have time to prepare. Any thoughts???
 
thats they way the nfl wants it bc they hate us. haha i just wanted to beat someone to that. it is what it is, you play the hand you are dealt. they can have there extra few days and come down here, hopefully its hot and well take care of them.

My thoughts, they will probably spend most of their practice time going over the wildcat formation and ways to stop it. and then be surprised that we only use it once late in the 4th to run time off the clock. After our last meeting, they looked like a bunch of high school kids trying to stop it, no way they let that happen again.

You do realize our D practices defending against the wildcat every week when they scrimage
 
I'm guessing your superstitious. Well the one positive thing is that this is a home game and Miami beat the Pats at home earlier in the season and the fact that Miami plays the pats tough. It seemed like that Pats and dolphins would managa to split, but the Pats winning at home and Miami winning at home. Now that Miami has won at NE, it helps that the game is at home for Miami. The pats have gotten better and it is nice that Miami is playing at home rather than at NE with the pats having improved over the past weeks. The thing is that, Miami has to hopefully fix the issues from the Seattle game and win against Oakland is the first thing, but also hopefully play well and definitely improve with the special teams coverage. As they will definitely need to improve among other things if they want to beat the patriots.

What if Cassell goes down with major injury? Then who has the advantage?


BTW, we are the home team. I dont think anyone will have the advantage in this one. Pats will desperately want to win this one but I think Jpeasy makes life miserable for Matt Light and co.
 
Well, we do have home field advantage and Miami usually plays New England well at home even when Tom Brady is there.

didn't the pats have the same bye wee as us this year. and we played them right after the bye. so they had 2 weeks to prepare for us. and we beat them down!!!!:sidelol:
 
just keep punching teams in the mouth early and winning games in the fourth quarter on offense with big drives, that is what winners do
 
actually i correct myself. we did have the same bye week. but it was the week after we played. but we still beat them down!!!

No, they'll spend the time practicing how to use it against us.
