After Monday night’s game I was left wondering how ourdefense could be carved up so easily. The Patriots ran a two tightend set a lot last season. The Dolphins had months to figure out how todefend it. A possible answer occurred tome, EDDS. Everybody thought that thePatriots picked up Edds for insight into our offense, but it was just theopposite. Edds provided informationregarding every defensive player’s responsibilities given a certain offensive formation. If a receiver or RB goes in motion Eddscould explain how that changes each players responsibilities. If an offense has that kind of understandingof each defensive players responsibilities it makes exploiting them mucheasier. Comments from the Patriotsstated that Brady enjoys all the preparation work prior to the actual game. The commentators stated that Brady doesn’tcall a play in the huddle, but a formation. Once he gets to the line he gets pick which actual play they run givenwhat he sees from the defense. Heck, who doesn’t like taking a test if you already have all the answers to thequestions. I don’t fault the Patriotsfor picking up Edds just to gain inside information, every team does it or hasthe opportunity to do it. I also don’tbelieve the the Dolphins should have kept Edds just so the Patriots don’t gethim. I believe Edds should’ve made theteam because he was talented enough and showed enough during the preseason towarrant a spot on the 53 man roster. However, its still not an excuse for our loss. The coaching staff knew what information Edds had and they should've known how Belicheat will use every legal or illegal tactic to win. They should've made better adjustments.

Well we picked up their TE that didn't really help us get the inside info on their offense

I heard BB planted cameras in Will Smith's ears. Will's ears work like a directional antenna and they picked up all conversatons by Miami. It's just another reason why BB is a genius.

Fail? I think so lol this happens with every single team in league

Even the Jets picked up a player from the Cowboys prior to their game and then released him after the game. I believe his name is Sensiburg or something.

totally not cheating. And if he wants to call out the rats for this "cheating", where in the post is he calling out miami for "cheating" when we picked up Yeatman (or whatever his name is)
Dude it aint cheating - and everyman or woman has his price

Yeatman wasn't such a big pick up after all, he never played and N.E. T.E.'s carved up the over-matched fins defense. The Dolphins sure could have used Edds Monday Night, at least he KNOWS how to tackle.

We all know NE cut Yeatman becasue they knew we were going to pick him up. It was all part of the plan. NE paid him a significant amount of $$$ to give us misinformation. :chuckle:

LOL, the Patriots already know us and better than Edds does!

Yes, exactly, Yeatman was a double agent! Not only did he plant misinformation. His body had cameras and microphones implanted so real time info could be stolen. Nice job Yeatman!. The Patriots didnt have either the talent or coaching to beat the Fins without you!!

This message was sponbsored by the Yeatman for MVP committee.

BTW Someone really needs to take their meds. You dont think defensive responsibilities can be gleaned from last year's games and this year's preseason games? These teams play each other twice a year and I'm pretty sure even the Fins have a DVD player. Edds and Yeatman probably provided no real important info,
