It still reads that the man who punhced Mooney was not one involved in the other altercation where Mooney approached fans. This reads like the Dolphins fan interjected himself into something that wasn't any of his business.

...Or maybe it was a human being trying to help a fellow Dolphins fan from someone that either drank too much, was upset, and taking it out on one of the rival fans, or just another big guy trying to bully a rival fan.

So it’s OK for Mooney to interject himself on dolphin fans but dolphin fan can’t interject himself on mooney, got it. You should hope that when you’re in a situation you have somebody step up and help you.
