I believe that if we beat the patriots this weekend, we pretty much can celebrate getting to the playoffs for the first time in 6 years. Obviously, yes we still got win more games, but I think beating the patriots in this kind of hyped up matchup will not only put us at 7-4 but also give this team tons of momentum with a 5 game winning streak.

If we lose to the patriots this weekend, i dont believe we will make the playoffs. The road to the playoffs becomes very hard and we would have to go 4-1 in our last 5 games which is definitley do able, but certainly not easy. These are my predictions however.

Patriots-W
@ Rams-W
@ Bills-L
Niners-W
@ Chiefs-L
@ Jets-W

We finish 10-6 and hopefully get a wildcard spot.

10-6 you mean...

but still, we SHOULD win at least 3 of the 5. I really hope we can knock out the Pats and Jets. Chad needs redemption for Brett beating us in week one!

We have set ourselves up for a real good run here folks.

If we beat the Patriots we are in real good shape with the schedule.

We could get knocked off in one of those so called easy games along the way but I bet we don't lose that game in Toronto to the Bills.

Roof will be closed. Element is gone.

I'm pretty damn excited about what we have left to go this season! :hi5:

if we beat the pats, i would not rule out superbowl. i will be so excited and i dont see y not us to be able to make the superbowl if we got into the playoffs. theres something very special about this team.

I love the optimism, but whoa, slow down a litle bit. Even if we beat NE there's still five games to be played and it's way too early to assume we make the playoffs, never mind the Super Bowl.

I've very nervous for this Sunday. It seems as soon as we (this site generally) think we are heading somewhere we end up dropping the ball somehow.

I love the OPTIMISM of the fans this year. All of a sudden, it's like night and day between last season and right now. I keep waiting for something bad to happen and it doesn't happen. It's getting weird. We keep WINNING ... one way or another. I'm getting used to this winning games thing. I can almost say I'm CONFIDENT we have a real shot at the playoffs. This year I really mean it. :D

All I know is that I LOVE reading articles like this one this year. In this messed up economy, at least we can be happy about our Dolphins. Man, I hope they can keep this going.

Like Joey Porter is saying, I want Dolphin stadium to be JAM PACKED for this week's game against the Patriots. The team deserves a VERY fired up, LOUD, hell raisin' crowd this week!

"I can understand why [fans] weren't there last year. But now that we're heading in the right direction, we really need the 12th man. The 12th man is big," Porter said. "It's nothing like going into a stadium where it's real loud and the offense on the other side can't make their audibles and stuff like that because it's so loud. That's an advantage. We need to get that back." :hi5: :applaudit:

I know how you feel about the optomism feeling weird. During games, Im like, "Oh i know right here, there going to complete this and go down field for a score". But instead, we end up getting a sack or something. Just an example
