Patriots game is scary

Back-to-back road games for the Fins- never good
Pats off a bye week- never good
Moss and Welker vs rookie corners- never good
I'm hoping for a blizzard!

We win that game and we FINALLy (!) get a easy ride for 3 games (TB, Carolina, Buff)... We're looking at 7-4 and then its a home Sunday night game vs the Patriots.

Bravado is nice and I HOPE that you are right but it would take a perfect day from the Fins in all three phases of the game and an off day from The Pats to have a shot at this. We've got two rookie cbs going against one of the best passing attacks in the game...

Well, as with this week, we should know what is going to be done to us to shut down the wildcat... I'm really surprised we weren't more prepared to deal with the corner pressure and the all out blitz. Henning should have two games worth of film as to what the Patriots are very likely planning to do against us.

Our D on the other hand needs to figure out how to play "first half against the Saints" type of D for 60mins.

That's easy. They backed off in the second half. They have to attack Brady the entire game. If he sits back there with all day to throw, he'll pick the secondary apart.

Who says the Pats can't have a bad game? You hardly ever have to play perfectly to win a game. At some point during the season sure but it's no guarantee it'd be next week vs NE.

bye weeks are overrated unless you have multiple injuries.

We beat the Pats all the time. People make too much about Brady. He dumps off quick hitches and screens.

No way Maroney gets over 50yds on us running the rock! That means Wes Welker has to have a consistantly big day throughout if we are running the ball well.

I suspect Pats D will be pumped up to stop us but they have weaknesses too.

Just dont let Brady come out and spread us out. If they come out first play with empty backfield, expect them not to run much at all all day.

how do you attack brady when half his throws are to welker behind the LOS in less than one second? you cant! you get burnt watching welker run down the field.
