Barring any unexpected revelations in our dress rehearsal, these are better coached, more complete football teams as it stands. They have run games, defenses. Very strong up front on both sides. Ivory is a bull for the Jets and CJ2K is still a dynamic change of pace. Vick and Decker puts them over the hump. People think New England doesn't have weapons but they have 2 Wes Welkers, the leagues best TE, top 10 run game, and the leagues best kept secret weapon, Marcus Thigpen on crack- Shane Vereen. This isn't a doom and gloom post, and it isn't even that the Dolphins are bad. Objectively speaking, these teams are just BETTER. Know their schemes, execute them. The way they just line up and play hard nosed football make the Dolphins look weak and gimmicky in comparison. Dolphins will get physically dominated by both teams. Don't see dolphins playing well in the division, Bills will also be competitive. I think we go 4-2 at BEST in division play, 2-4 at worst, and wholeheartedly expect splitting a game with each team for 3-3. I respect the teams in our division and not really liking the way we match up right now. I'm just calling it how I see it. Discuss.

I know it's not what you all wanna hear but it's the truth. And it's probably why a lot of you guys hate Omar Kelly. If it isn't Dolphin-based homerism half you guys don't wanna hear. Truth hurts fellas. Buckle your chin straps when NE and NY come to town. They will physically manhandle us. We're soft as baby sh*t right now. Hope to see some physically in tomorrow's dress rehearsal.
 
Don't count out the Bills either. They and the Jets DL could wreak havoc
 
Yea, Jets looked fantastic tonight. I think they have the division locked up. Pats and Jests 1 and 1a.

Lol, JK...we were better than Jets and Pats last year we just shot ourselves in the foot. Weird post.
 
I will probably get flamed for agreeing with you, but all three of our division teams are improved and are solid. We have glaring holes at LB, safety, and Oline.
The AFCE will be tougher and improved IMHO.
The Bills sweeping us with their back up QB twice says something. That team is good enough to beat us without a QB.
The patriots look like they have added a few more of our former players and have a deep ball passing game again. Good defense, running game and Brady
The Jets play good defense and run the ball...we cannot stop the run. Their QB will be better this year with a new TE and another WR.
3-3 sounds about right.

Jets 1st team defense looked really good tonight, but the Giants OL is in worse shape then we are, so we'll see. Their offense doesn't really scare me. They have a running game, but Eric Decker is nothing special. He is good, but will decline without a QB like Peyton Manning.

I mentioned Vick as the QB getting them over that hump. Has Decker Amaro Hill Kerley at his disposal. No slouch. Geno beat us with less weapons so don't act like Miami dominates this team. We don't dominate anybody, frankly.

Don't need your approval. Post count doesn't equal football knowledge. I know what I'm seeing right now. I'm seeing two teams that are twice as physical as Miami. They will ground and pound the heck out of us and there's nothing you, or Philip Wheeler can do about it.

No we weren't. That's why we shot ourselves in the foot. Don't pretend Jets didn't single handedly kill our playoff hopes one on one Mano y Mano week 17. Don't act like it didn't hurt. Respect those Jests. They're tough as nails.
