I am really sick of everyone outside of the team and the fans saying Miami's offense is mostly a gimmick, the way I see it the Patriots offense is just as much a gimmick as the wildcat. To line up in shotgun/spread offense 90% of the time is gimmicky. We hear all the time how good the Pats OL is, if they lined up in a traditional formations defenses would get to their qb much more often. After all isnt the shotgun designed to give the qb more time? I think if Cassel was under center more today we could have crashed the pocket and got to him more. Still this doesnt excuse the poor performance of the D. Does anybody else agree?

Yes, BUT, Phins need to learn to counter the spread FAST! It's going to be tried by every team left on the schedule after NE exposed their weakness to it.

This coaching staff will learn from thier mistakes, and When we have more of the players they want, you will not see this type of thing happening.

Its not lake we were that exposed. Most of they day we had pretty good coverage. Its just when you're playing guys like MOSS and WELKER, it's going to be a little tough. We definately should have doubled up on Moss. I would have never moved Will Allen from him either. He's our best DB.

It's called game planning.. Miami lacks consistent, if any, pass rush in the shotgun formation. The gameplan New England played with yesterday was straight out of the 2007 New England playbook.

The only difference between NE last year and NE this year is a different QB... and the new QB is performing and executing the gameplans to perfection.

New England will be a force in the playoffs.

I personally agree with Miami putting Will Allen on Welker and Jason Allen on Moss... Just that they should of given Jason help from Hill.

Exactly. You don't leave Jason Allen out on an island with Randy Moss. Hell, you don't leave any corner in the NFL stranded on an island with Randy Moss. He'll win that battle 9/10 times.

That's for sure. Moss needed to be double teamed all day long.
