That fumble in the Jets game did not help him, but man does the Pats WR corp need some help. Everyone in the AFC East has a better corp...

Pats - Troy Brown, Reche Caldwell, Chad Jackson, Jabar Gaffney
Dolphins - Wes Welker, Chris Chambers, Marty Booker
Bills - Lee Evans, Roscoe Parrish, Peerless Price
Jets - Jericho Crotchery, Tim Dwight, Lavernous Coles

Everyone else has that game breaker WR, the Pats can't contend next year if nothing is done about it.
 
Gabriel is good. Dont understand why they cut him. Was he not getting open or what?
 
Wow... what fools... Gabriel is GOOD. He was your best freakin WR?!?! Whats the deal with your front office? They think they can win by lineing up with BB and Brady and field a bunch of practice squad players??

I dont get the Pats... Your WR blows, and you cut your best WR? Fools...
 
I guess Gabriel just didn't fit into their plans, so I hope it wasn't too high of a draft pick they gave for him which I don't think was the case otherwise they wouldn't have just cut him like that.

I'm not totally worried because the Pats were able to win a Superbowl with Troy Brown and David Patten as the starting WRs. It looks like with a second first rounder you'll see the Patriots draft a WR in one of the first two rounds I wouldn't doubt seeing a Notre Dame WR in the Pats lineup next season.
 
Wow, he goes from suckage, to a great team, back to suckage.

He probably thought he had a good shot at the SB. Now he's back with Oakland. :lol: :lol:

this was a bad move he's the best WR on the team but and being a Dolphin fan I hate to say this but next year the Pats have two 1sts, they are sure to grab someone like Sidney Rice with one of them
 
I do not think they will get a WR from the either of the 1st for sure.But having 13 draft picks most in the 4th and 5th i think they will package and get some 2nd or 3rd rounder.

Also, Jackson who was the first WR grabs this year has been injured all year hopefully he contributes next year. Reche is not bad for 2nd or 3rd but definitely need a #1 WR or alteast #1b WR.
