The patriots have signed a buttload of high value players, shouldnt they be over their salary cap? They have to be close.

I think they're screwing themselves up long term, and theyll likely released/trade Reche Caldwell, Troy Brown, or Johnathon Smith

Before the Washington deal it was somewhere around 7.7 mil under, which was still something like 17th most. But the The Stallworth and most likely the Washington deals are "proove it" contracts with tons of roster bonuses next year.

If you look at what they signed, almost all the guys have low cap numbers for this season.

They're at 13th most cap room currently if I remember correctly.

Lot of speculation this is BB last year. So Pats may be trying to buy his last superbowl this year. Watch if they win it a majority of these players will be gone next year. Before the big Bonuses Hit

I think Bellychuck is going to call it quits after this year. It's similar to Pat Riley and the Heat's situation last year, and many thought riley was going to try one last time to get a championship, so he brought in as many stars to fill roles, same thing Bellychuck is doing right now.

Icky "just had to choke down that puke" becuase I have to say I agree with a Fin Fan.

No in all seriousness I Agree

I would like that. What I want is what has been coming out a little bit. Peterson Slipping to a point were he becomes the Next Bills RB

Sounds like the Fins seeing Quinn drop to #9 - if that happens, the world has officially gone topsy-turvy and we should all turn in our membership cards cause it's gonna be over real soon

stallworth will be paid 3.5 mil this year and i guess thats all hes garunteed. washington wont be more then 3 million either i suppose, oh well they dont be able to sign their rookies, theyll have two in the first round to sign.

but no they can sign all the wr's they want and have 8 on their roster, i dont get it because with a system qb like brady, he doesn't like having a specific target, so in essense they aren't using brady the way they should by bolstering up that d and running game because he will pass the ball around to WR.

so far they have gaffney, caldwell, welker, brown, stallworth, washington, jackson. prob a few more practice squad members im missing.

hey bills fan, change ur picture, welker aint one of us anymore
