Even though I was happy watching Brady struggle in the early part of the season I am now worried because once again (the machine that he is) Brady is taking control. As I watch him play, I am worried about him exploiting our secondary. My question is: Does anyone see a flaw in his playbook or are going to face yet another defeat to this wounded duck?
 
maybe a little comfort... Brady threw 2 picks against the crappy Bucs and also his best two games were against those Bucs and against the terrible defense of the Titans. When teams blitz, he gets scared and short arms his throws (see jets game).. so bliitttz
 
we need to control TOP and put up td's instead of fg's...pressure brady into making some mistakes

Let's hope Roth/Taylor/Porter/Wake can make him uncomfortable.
 
I'm definitely afraid. Brady is getting more and more confident every week. We need to shut down Randy Moss and try to contain Welker. Our secondary needs to STEP-UP. If we can do that, we have a fighting chance, IMO.
 
The difference between the first 4 games and the last 2 is that Brady is now hitting those passes he was missing earlier in the season. There were definitely a few plays against the jets were moss was open for td's that Brady flat out missed. Same as with the Bmore and Bronco games.

I dont really worry about the quality of opponent the last couple of games. Good teams are suppose to demolish bad teams and that is exactly what the Pats did. I would be more concerned if those games were close. the most important part is that Brady is getting his accuracy back.

Should be a good game.
 
We have beaten brady at his best so I'm not concerned. If you look at it on paper they should kill us but I feel anytime we play the pats as good or as bad as we are we have a shot.
 
Brady still panicks a little, even with just the slightest pressure. His two picks against the Bucs were caused by him flushing the pocket because of pressure and making off target throws (both to Moss). IF we can get some pressure, we can disprupt some of his confidence and hopefully that will cause incompletions and interceptions.
 
Uh oh, and here comes the 2nd part of the season + pats fans.. hope you all are ready because the Jets saga is done, now its time for the real competiton in the East to fire up.

Need to blitz Brady. Need to run like the #1 rushing team in the league... wildcat or I-form... Need to get some deep passes in there. Were going to have to score 30 again to win this one. Going to be a great game. Love this rivalry.
 
I am much more concerned about henne vs. the Pats Defense than I am about Brady vs. us.
 
If we get to him early and often, then we could win. The coaching staff must not forget the often part though, because we need to keep the heat on Tom.


As a side note, I hope that Moss gets shut down because that helps us win, and I am playing against the team that has him in fantasy this week. Plus I really hate the guy, and would be nice to beat him.

Like a lot of QB's Henne has played as well as his run game has worked. If the Pats stop our running game, it puts a lot of pressure on Henne and our crap recievers.

One of the picks was a throw to the rookie (Tate), playing in his first game. he ran the wrong route. The other was to Moss and he threw it too low. A little more air under the ball and Moss was in perfect position to grab it.

Brady has begun moving in the pocket like his old self. I didn't see any sign of 'panic' the last 3 games.

This is a double edged sword because two of his TD's came when the pressure was on as well. One he rolled away from pressure out of the pocket and hit Welker in the flat and the other the pressure came from the outside and moved up in the pocket and hit Akin who then outran the coverage. Pressure will get to any QB, thinking that this is somehow Bradys weakness is pretty weak. I'll say this, if the Fins come with pressure, it better be well timed and on the money because if not, Brady will torch that secondary.
 
The flaw is he doesn't take hits very well. for the fins to even have a chance they are going to have to put pressure on him and make him throw hot routes, and since they really don't hurt you with their running game limit his play action.
