I understand it's the offseason and all we have are the OTA's currently, so I thought I'd venture over to the other East team sites to see what's happening with those teams. WOW...maybe I shouldn't be surprised at all as we all know how pompous Pats fans can be and what an as***le Belicheat is...but those fans honestly expect to go undefeated with Brady back.
Not just win the division. Not just win the Super Bowl. But go undefeated because pretty boy is back. That's putting alot of stock in an injured player if you ask me. Dan's arm was never a problem, but he was never the same after his injury. We still have alot of holes and we're a work in progress, but how bout just a bit of humility!

Well the year they went 18-1, the afc east was much weaker. Not a chance in hell now.

I agree. The Bills, Jets, and Dolphins are much better teams than in 07. They had some close calls that year also, they will not go 18-0 again. I actually wouldn't be surprise to see the Jets upset the Pats week 2. Brady is going to start off slow, every QB with that knee injury struggles at first. The Jets defense won't sit back like previous years against the Pats and we'll attack them.
That Pats defense isn't scaring anyone, they just aren't stacked like they were back in their SB days. I think Mayo is overrated, their secondary isn't that good. They have a bunch of JAGs out there and washed up players. Their DL is their strong point, but even they were getting pushed around by the Jets OL last year.

Brady could come back playing like Carson Palmer or Daunte Culpepper did after their knee injuries. You just don't know. I hate how people are awarding the division to the Patriots.

The Patriots can do no wrong in everyone's book...Even when they actually do wrong and break the rules, it is still not wrong. Goodell is so far up Pat Patriot's butt it is not even funny. It makes me throw up a little.

You're full of it. Patriots fans aren't expecting a perfect season. I post at a Patriots board, most expect 11-14 wins. Anyways, thinking the Patriots could go undefeated isn't as bad as this board thinking that John Beck, Samson Satele and Ted Ginn were the future! lolololololol:lol:

Nobody in Patriots Land thought Pete Carroll was the future? Or Rod Rust? Give me a break.....

Honestly all fans are blinded by thier favorite team.
I bet people on the Lions forums are predicting superbowl.

But your original point is taken, there is no way in hell the Pats go 19-0.

Just put it here...
PATS SUCK HAHAHAHAHA
I can just hear a chant
OVERRATED CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP

They went 4-2 against the AFC East w/ Matt Cassell, there's no question they can go 6-0 against the AFC East w/ a healthy Tom Brady.

Yeah, I agree. There are going to be a handful of yahoo fans of any team that are going to be delusional in their expectations of their favorite team. Those fools tend to make up a vocal minority, whether it be the Pats, Jets, or yes - even Dolphin fans.

NCFINZFAN - do you have a link? Just curious because the Pats sites I took a quick look at were just the opposite if anything - doom and gloom, mostly concerned with about their defense and low expectations from their linebackers.

Brady could also come back playing like Phillip Rivers after his knee injury.

Like someone mentioned in another post the players around him make a big difference as well.

Brady at 90% is still better than any QB the AFCE at 100%.

Daunte wasn't good before the injury and palmer was pretty damn good in 2006 the year after he suffered the injury.
