Pats get three comp picks in 09 draft

Some decent picks, some not. Hard to find kids that can supplant anyone on their 53 man roster, especially when they sign vet FA's. How many rooks can beat out a guy like Galloway or Taylor? Not many.

I think it was the '07 draft that stuck out. Only their first rd pick is still on the team (Merriweather). Another they had to cut in November to make room on the roster (Kareem Brown). The rest got picked up off waivers or plucked from their practice squad. All are still in the NFL though. They just weren't good enough at the time.

The Patriots were on the golf course while we were playing playoff football last year. Screw the Patsies,,,they've fallen off.
