Did anyone notice how the Pats O-line was simply diving at the defensive linemen's knees all day? Some plays there was literally no effort to block guys straight up. Considering the ball is out of Brady's hand so quickly, they don't need to stop the pass rush, just dive at guys' knees to slow them down.

It was even more brutal at the goal line.

Might be one reason that Suh was so fired up later in the game.

The Patriots live on pushing the boundaries of what is legal. And the officiating plays right into their hands.

So much for the proposed tighter enforcement of chop blocking.

It was really incredible to watch. On Blount's late TD run, the entire right side of the Pats o-line dove at the D-lines knees. The inclination of a defender is to stop or jump back to protect yourself. At that point, it's a TD.

And you know that Belichick will preach that they should do it for as long as they can get away with it. And the refs don't call anything.

They are an average bunch talent wise, it's their blocking schemes/tactics that give them some success. Not even close to a dominant bunch.
If the Phins can beef up the LB corp next season, they can slow this offense down. That and the continued development and health of our young secondary.
One good offseason and this team can challenge for the division.

It's just like the Seahawks mentality. Hold on defense every play because they know the refs aren't going to call it every play

It is really sickening that their entire offense is based upon coming as close to blatant cheating as possible. All of the illegal picks that aren't called, blocking at defenders' knees, etc.

They get away with calls all the time, but their O-line doesn't need to do much. They just quick pass to counter any sort of pressure.
