Pats trade two picks to Bears for TE Bennett

The Chicago Bears traded Martellus Bennett to the Patriots on Thursday for a fourth- and sixth-round pick in April's draft.

They got a 3rd round and (2) 6th round comp picks from last year. So this essentially costs them nothing. Hopefully the Dolphins are in the same position in next years draft with some extra comp picks and a ton of money to spend.

Difference is the pats continue to stay competive as they make changes with an eye for the future . Pats have not went on a spending spree in any year and yet year after year their formula works.
