Patriots trying to move into Top 10...Peter King of SI.com reports the Patriots are trying to move up into the top 10 of the draft...Executives from two teams told King that New England offered its first-round pick and pick No. 47 to Jacksonville for the eighth pick in the draft....The Jaguars reportedly said "no". Very Interesting.

Those arrogant turds really thought that was a decent offer for the eighth pick? There must be a promising young camera man they're keeping their eye on

they have some good players about to come off the books next year, but it will take more than that to move up. Sounds like they want either Tyson Jackson or Brian Orakpo.

Maybe Raji because Wilfork's contract is up next year?

this is mostly a smokescreen. but you can add-in malcolm jenkins to the mix to replace rodney harrison.

many sites have reported its a "surprise pick" and they are tryin to hop to 8 or 9 to pick ahead of san fransisco...

One site speculated its for Percy Harvin... Now that would be a surprise pick

Think why would the Pats who love trading down trade so far up in this draft? its a player they love and think can make a serious impact on their team.

maybe, but there are a lot of teams out there who would trade in front of the Pats to get Raji including Denver, and Green Bay. I know Jacksonville has a lot of interest in Raji as well so I can see why they wouldn't pull the trigger yet. Of course, Raji could go 5th to Cleveland or 6th to Cincy.

I think both Jarvis Green and Richard Seymour are free agents as well. They play those 2 alongside Ty Warren a lot so I think Jackson makes sense, but again, he's rising so he may not be there. I think they really want an OLB and they decided to aim big.

Tyson Jackson makes sense with a rumor that I have heard recently about the Patsies trying to trade Richard Seymour and the number 34 pick to Carolina for Peppers.

Harvin? LOL...They could wait till the 34th pick and may still have him.
