PBP reports crowders return to phins doubtful next season

I really like the effort he put forth, but as many will agree, he was more often than not, too late to be effective when it mattered.
 
I agree that there's a good chance that Crowder will be gone, but this article is little more than conjecture.
 
Nice, I kinda liked Crowder but now I'm realizing he's just a little girl. Can't wait to see how we address the ILB position if he really leaves.

that may be... but this isn't the first time it's been reported. people keep coming back to it. there was another post earlier today, I think it was reported that mort didn't even think the dolphins would resign him.

I think it's time we own up to the possibility of this guy not getting resigned. I'm sure it won't be the last article on channings status, but so far none of them have been favorable as far as him re signing with us.

My guess is we either draft or sign a ILB, or the possibility could come that Roth could move into ILB since Wake will more then likely play OLB opposite of Porter. Just my guess.
 
Sign Bell and Carey. Look Crowder is a good LB, but that is about it. The guy is not a playmaker he is number 2 ILB in a 3-4 starting. I think he has zero INTs and like 2 force fumble in his career. I want a MLB that can sack the QB and cause TO. I think Miami will be upgrading the position this year.

If Crowder is gone I want John Laurinaitis at 25. Kid is Sick and a playmaker.

Until about a week ago the same rumors were out there about Carey. I'll believe both when I see them.

Please to God no. Is Ray good? Yes, but he's pretty old. I'd rather go younger, maybe Dansby or Bart Scott (if he didn't/doesn't sign an extension) if we went through FA. If not, draft all the way.

Own up? Hell I've said it all along that Crowder wouldn't be resigned. Channing is mediocre ILB who really has shown no improvement. Now he wants a big pay day.

The Dolphins want playmakers on the defense. Crowder hasn't made a big play in four years here. Do the math. Would you spend big money on a guy who chases plays?

Face it folks Crowder will be gone!
