  1. I’m going to copy and paste this from every “The tape don’t lie” ever written, which, granted, is only like five. “Ryan Tannehill is accurate, poised and confident throwing while rolling out of the pocket, on the move, and even off-balance.” End paste. OK, so by now I’m sure you’ve seen Tannehill’s ridiculous 53-yard completion to tight end MarQueis Gray. The one where Tannehill was headed toward the left sideline, off balance, when he ****ed and effortlessly threw the ball 55 yards in the air, with ease, to Gray, who waited for it, hauled it in and was pushed out of bounds at the Steelers’ 1-yard line. Yeah, that one. Play of the year for Tannehill. But don’t forget this play in the second quarter, which should have been a touchdown (the second TD Tannehill lost as DeVante Parker also had a drop on a beautiful spiral). Anyhow, Tannehill made a laser throw (he can do this) to Dominique Jones in the right corner of the end zone; rolling to his right; under pressure; feet not set. It was an awesome throw and it’s the kind of thing that makes people like Gase want to keep the Tannehill project rolling all season before issuing a grade. Now here’s the rub. Tannehill has three games this season with a passer rating of 93 or higher. And three games with a passer rating of 80, 75 and 62. There are 11 games left. The challenge to Tannehill is to score 93 or higher in 8 of the final 11 games.
So, Why not call more plays where Tannehill is on the move, and plays very well instead of the whole Pocket thing? :ponder:
Why are the Dolphins not playing to their strengths & what they do well? :idk:

Not Pouncey he sucks per Finheaven, just Albert.

Steen, Satele, Douglas and Urbick are better centers than Pouncey. Hell Shelley Smith was too if he just learned how to snap.

We need Albert and pounce to stay healthy and we can do these things

Albert is looking like a pro-bowler with that weight loss. Pouncey is no Steen for those who wanted to cut and trade him. You can see the difference in the line calls and adjustments.

Sims also dropped a TD pass that hit him right in the chest. Tannehill had 1 TD erased by penalty and 2 TD's dropped. The biggest and most critical key to Miami's success is great OL play. Miami got that Sunday and it made Tannehill look good, Ajayi look good, and our D look good by keeping them off the field and fresher.

"AND STILL NOT 1 DAMN COORDINATOR, INCLUDING MR. HIGHLY TOUTED GASE, HAS ATTEMPTED TO UTILIZE THAT TANNEHIL IS A MONSTER WHEN PASSING ON THE MOVE. I MEAN FOR Fs SAKE. DO COACHES FORGET HOW TO SPELL ROLLOUT WHEN THEY PUT ON A DOLPHINS HAT?"

Thats me quoting myself (pompous i know).

It truly is infuriating. Not only does he make it look easy but he always has the option to tuck and run which he's also great already having momentum.

One good game by the O-line erases all the crappy O-lines Pouncey has been part of...good call.

As for why we don't roll Tannehill out more...teams are playing him to roll out. How many times did he fake a handoff and roll out only to find a defender right in his face. He short armed a throw on one of those occasions...he made two or three good throws on the others but pressure was in his face.

I think good things happened every time we moved him Sunday. Unless I recall wrong, the short hopper to the TE was a pocket pass where it looked like he got caught between lasering it and lofting it because of the defender quickly in the lane and just made a bad pass.(if that's the one you mean)

two negative grade plays for the qb in that game...too deep in his drop on one 3rd down to landry ball and the one hopper...other than that he was straight money...ball placement to the tight end on those move/boot throws was dead on...had a 3rd down drop by ajayi placed where it should be had a fall down route where he read it right and threw it right to stills on a hook route had a td called back due to the tight end not lining up on the los leaving the right tackle uncovered had a dart post route td drop by parker and had a sims sit down in the end zone bullet bounce off his chest

that's the kind of play I expect from that qb

I think, and this is just my opinion, but I think that Gase wants Tannehill and the OL comfortable with his offense before moving his skill set out of the pocket. Get the system down, get the reads down and once everything is good there you can then improvise and move Tannehill around on the field.

keep running the ball effectively and they will move the pocket plenty

i appreciate what steen has shown so far in his short dolphins career. but anybody comparing him in any way (talent wise) to mike pouncey needs to stop posting on football fan message boards. like right now. also, try to keep your personal feelings of the player off the field out of it.

so basically you had a 300 yard 28 for 32 day from the qb with 2 or 3 tds

he put up one of those 120 plus qbr burgers but didn't get the end result cause of other peoples mishaps...it happens but to complain about anything after that game from the qb is frankly not credible

and neither is "average joe" can do that talk

A lot of those roll outs were from the spread option formation with no or little play action. If we keep running the ball, play action or play action roll outs will work a lot better. And it worked Sunday on that 13-yard pass to Jones.

P.S. Those Hips Don't Lie

Total rubbish. Mike Pouncey is one of the best Centers in the NFL. He is also the team leader in the locker room and has the respect of his teammates.
