little self-indulged experiment, my apologies ahead of time... anyhoo, i'll try to give 3-4 picks (20 total units) a week and stay above 52.5%... and yes i'll submit them before kickoff, and document results... pass or fail...
1-3 last week! This is hard to do, and easily my worst NFL season. ... In a league of underdog betting, this has certainly been a favorites season, and I have not adjusted. Embarrassing, but I will not give up. Season total: 12-20; -43 units.
1. Carolina/New York Jets over 40: The Panthers have been a strong over play all season, and few seem to recognize them as an offensive power in this league for some reason. Jets still running the ball well and should produce 17 points on their end. (8u)
2. Giants (-9) hosting Minn. Minnesota is just a terrible road team, while New York has been terrific in their own building. Now, the huge line reflects this, but I can't see the ViQueens staying with the Giants here. (7u).
3. Miami/New England under 43.5: This number keeps climbing, due money coming in against a couple of bad secondaries. However, expect a breezy day at Dolphins Stadium (18 mph). Two teams will try to get back to basics -- running the ball. (5u).
