I am stoked about the game, but did anyone else notice an excessive amount of penalties? This needs to be changed or it could really hurt us in a closer game.

Agreed. But hey, Seth McKinnye didn't cause them for once.

look at it as a positive. we shot ourselves in the foot all over the place, but we still won the game in a dominating fashion. Now think about it if we don't have those penalties, we don't fumble the ball at inopportune times, then we win the game by 40 or so.

Saban will address these things. and it will make us better.

Yeah, that was horrible. It can be fixed over time though. JT had a few offsides calls where he was ready to get to the QB. Most of the other ones were false starts. The team needs to work on timing.

The penalties are a concern, specially the dumb O-line penalties...but listen when was the last time we were able to say that we played good O and D...and won a game the way we did today..Enjoy it dude!

They are a concern, but seemed better as the game went on. Will need to cut down on penalties and turnovers to beat the Jets.

yea the penalities hurt, but we stilll won despite ourselves.. they can, and will hopefully be corrected soon..other than that, we were frigggggging great today....wow, we looked like what im used to seeing us look like...great day..great great great day...f'innng A!

I am not concerned. Why? Because Saban was walking the sidelines and chewed the livin crap out of the team at halftime. Not to mention the officials. :)

Yep....I think he went off on the Line at halftime because they made fewer mistakes in the 2nd half.....I was really pleased with the protection today....Great job...But the line will have a big test in hostile NY next week in overcoming the crowd noise.
