The field was in horrible shape, the refs were pretty bad(at one point they didn't know what down it was and actually had to use replay to figure out what down it was), but Penn State defeated the Tigers of LSU.

Penn State didn't play their best game of the year and played way to conservative in the red zone. They opted for field goals when they should have been going for touchdowns. By doing that, they allowed LSU to actually make a game of it. Penn State dominated the game but the inability to punch it in the endzone is what made this game actually look close.

We Are............Penn State!

I was very surprised by this, but I was glad to see my hometown team pull it out. Anytime LSU loses, I'm happy. Just like many other college football fans, I don't think LSU does things the right way (i.e. recruiting).

The city of Orlando should be embarassed over the condition of the field. It was complete crap. Of course the Citrus Bowl is now the biggest hunk of sh*t stadium in all of Florida ever since the Orange Bowl was demolished.

The Orange Bowl was the best stadium in Florida, are you kidding me? Jeez, I bet you loved all of those cookie-cutter ballparks up north like the Vet, 3 Rivers and Riverfront. The Citrus Bowl is the worst, but Pro Player and BHG are pretty ugly as well.

The field condition was terrible, and reminded me of the Fins and Steelers in Pitt when the field was crappy. But the outcome was great, nothing beats a big ten win!

I meant in terms of conditions. Field, stadium structure, upkeep, etc. In terms of atmosphere there was nothing like the Orange Bowl. Even the most die-hard Orange Bowl enthusiats would admit that as much as they loved the atmosphere, the facility was crap. That's all I'm saying about Citrus Bowl. It is without question the worst stadium in Florida, I was at the Champs Sports Bowl for Miami vs. Wisconsin.
