Forget about 4000 yards, the question should be 3,000 yards. Since Marino we have had only 1 year where a QQB passed for 3,000 and that was in 2001 when Feidler passed for 3200 yards (20 TD's, 19 INT's). The 2nd closest was Frerotte in 05 with 2996 yards.

Personally, I dont care if passes for 4,000 or 1,000 as long as we get wins out of it.

If you mean just the Phins then no, we haven't. If you mean the Whole NFL then yes it has happened MANY times since Marino left the game. Marino is the only 5,000 yard passer though.

Chad's previous best 3352, he's very likely to better that. Jets gave up on him to soon. It will be an intense rematch with the Jets Miami finale to end the season. Both quarterbacks will actually know the playbook.
