I was just tuned in to NFL live and of course they were featuring a story on favre like every day. and they said something to the effect of

"The Jets can finally expand their playbook and throw 20 yards down field because they have a quarterback that can throw the ball."

then you heard Meril Hodge say "Now theres going to be receivers 20 yards down field saying 'wow i actually got the ball thrown to me'"

They are sure on the Jets jock ever since favre has been there
 
Yea.. from Favres interview today, they're going to expand it to 25 plays for Brett.

Whatever.. Good thing football is a team sport.

completely agree, but theres nothing else really thats on TV about the NFL. They are like the CNN of the sports world. Completely one sided.

This is new, he went on the record as saying he asked the Gyna to shorten the playbook 2 weeks ago.

Do the 25 plays include a wheelchair and bedpan? The what good are they?

speaking of Brett Favre, i just saw him advertising "5 star quality denim jeans" playing back yard football with the song "bad to the bone" in the background.

Boy he is all that is man....:lol:

Fine, let the Jets get a Fat Head and think they are going to have it easy. I hope Pennington gets fired up hearing this and has a great game.

Nah, comcast wants to charge an extra 10 bucks per month for it.

you would expect a major cable network to actually have sports packages for games.

And what is up with only two channels with games? College football has ABC, Fox, CBS, ESPN, ESPN 2, and FSN for local teams.

FSN should televise local teams while the other major networks televise more games. it is far too large of a market to only have it limited to two channels

Someone better remind these idiots that Pennington knows the playbook and it doesn't matter how much they expand it, if it's thrown 20 yards down field, the balls will be intercepted.
 
If he doesn't throw a single pass over 15 yards i don't care. As long as he completes it and we win!! period--just win damnit. The only stat that matters is W's & L's. I have been on the receiving end of Pennington's W's now, it's time to put the Chad on the other foot.
