His praise of Henne shows what seperates Pennington from the "me first" atheletes in the NFL - He is truely a "team first" guy. Unlike prima donnas like Favre who had a cold relationship with his heir to be (Aaron Rodgers) at Green Bay and did nothing to help him succeed. I hope Chad P. stays here to back up and mentor Henne.

Pennington will be back in 2010, where he play remains to be seen. I believe he will be offered an opportunity to compete for a starting position. If not he's going to be back in aqua to back up Henne.

No thanks, this is Henne's team, Henne's time. If he is around next year, it should be only as coach of something.

All due respect, I couldn't disagree more. I would love Pennington to come back behind Henne. If Henne is continuing to progress and do well, then why would you worry Pennington would take over. If he did then Henne wasn't really the QB of the future. It's good for Henne to have a vet as a back up, especially Pennington. It's only going to help him in the future, not hurt his future. The only person who can hurt Henne at this point is himself.
