Active Roster
I don't think there is an actual curse, just makes a good headline.
The effect of getting rid of pennington continues. Last year it resulted in the Dolphins winning the AFC East by beating the Jets in Jersey, knocking them and the Pats out of the playoffs all at once, thanks to the Jets giving up Pennington, helping out their big division rival.
Now, instead of having a veteran QB teach Sanchez how to throw to the right team, he turned the ball over 5 times. Wasn't as big of a disaster as the "8" QB rating against Buffalo. Meanwhile Pennington helped Henne for a year and sometimes you can see it. Even hurt, he continues to help break down film for the Dolphins, giving us a slight edge I think.
Who knew when they dropped Pennington and picked up Favre it would haunt them for [at least] 2 seasons. It's almost like how we feel about losing Welker to a division rival for next to nothing, but worse.
