Chad Pennington revealed Sunday that he played through an inflamed tendon in his foot in Week 11.
Pennington awoke Saturday with the injury and was added to the injury report as "probable." He said it felt good Sunday morning and Pennington threw for 174 yards against Oakland. He will probably be just fine for Week 120.

Say what you want, Hate him or like him. One thing is for sure if Henne plays yesterday we lose that game. Pennington has been great for us this year and the little pencil neck geek is Tuff as Nailz.

Pennington plays for the love of the game. Im glad hes here.

i wouldn't be so sure we'd lose that game. it was a really conservative game for the quarterback. henne may have had a couple chances to stretch the field.

I just had an eerie feeling that Pennington wasn't hismelf yesterday. I knew he was injured, but I just wasn't sure how bad it would bother him. He was definetley not playing like himself

I don't see how anyone can speak bad of that guy. We signed him late (it's not like he had a whole off season with the WR's) and he comes in and just wins ball games.

I was a Chad P. hater because he was a jet and also because he seemed to have our number when ever we played against him. But now that he is a Dolphin and he is playing great for us i like him. But to just say that if Henne played yesterday that we would of lost i just can't buy that. We don't really know how good or bad Henne is going to be and he could of won that game yesterday if Pennington couldn't of played or he could of lost it we just don't know right now. Just my Opinion....

Not to be a jerk, but Pennington is actually a pretty big guy. Certainly not little and certainly not a pencil neck. Although, when he was a Jet he was.

Henne is a Rookie and that 4th and 5 we were in Pennington has seen a bunch of times. Penny is cold as ice in those moments and that is what he does and has always done. Remember all those games he won aginst us in the last second.

As far as the conservative playcalling. Oakland had just came off a game where the QB had been intercepted 3 times. Oakland has the best Corner in the league in Namdi and you cannot pretend that their secondary and defense suck because in reality they are good. If Penny throws an INT yesterday we lose. So I think Henning playcalling was brillient. We could have had 21 points if it was not for the Ronnie fumble and for a team who does the Wildcat they cannot defend it for crap.

What there wasn't enough noodle in that arm. He is what he is. a weaker armed version of bob griese. But i will take that over the past scrubs we've had since marino.

if pennington plays one year or five for us the phins are better for it, he has made the phins relevant again

Would anyone say he's our third best QB ever behind Marino and Griese....or is that too early to call?
