I'm not the one to start rumors but....a friend of mine was intering for her doctrine degree in physical therapy and the doctor she was interning for worked with the JETS. He told her Pennington's injury isn't a torn rotator cuff but multi directional disfunction on his shoulder. The injury doesn't let him gain full range of motion in his arm and if he continues to throw his arm will literally fall out of his shoulder. This probably explains why is arm has gotten weaker. We should not go after this guy.

I dont think his career is over, but its certainly not looking like he will be a reliable option for any team. He would do well on a team with a solid backup.

Which is one of the reasons I hope we at least look into getting him. We're a team with a solid backup, Gus.

He had one to begin with? It's news to me.

Uhhhh, what??? I'm sure your not being literal, literal, literal . . . but man that can leave a nasty thought in your mind.

Pennington drops back . . . he throws deep . . . oh my goodness!! Ladies and gentlemen, Penningtons arm is lying on the ground, wait, no, yes, yes, it is lying on the ground, it has literally fallen off. I've never seen anything like this, this is something else, he is now, he is now waving on the medical team with his good arm. This is crazy ladies and gentlemen, sure at times when Fiedler was our quarterback you'd think his arm was missing with some of the throws he made, but folks, this here is something else. I think I am going to be sick. The good news is that Chambers has made the catch . . . TD Miami!

If the ball was still in possession of the dismembered arm how would the NFL rule on that?

Is it a fumble or would that be considered an extension of the tuck rule?

if he was playing for the pats, they'd somehow rule that a TD.

So what we've learned from Finheaven today is that Dante Culpepper sucks, Steve McNair is overrated, and Chad Pennington never had an NFL career.

This is truly a magical place sometimes.

if this is true say good buy to pennington and say goodbye to us getting cutler or young

To bad for the Jets(sarcasm). They just re-signed him to a good deal like last year or the year before that( don't quote me on that). They should of just let him go when it wouldn't have cost them money. Before he got that contract I was hoping that we could have gotten him, but now that it seems to be curtains for his career ,I'm glad we didn't.
I mean we could gamble on him but I am tired of gambling on Qb's(not that the fins count on my opinion). We need Brees, if he available. Which he probably wont be. Or Farve, but he probably wont be available either. But seriously y'all, Scr*w Pepper, McNair, McCown, Schuab, Kitna or anyone else that is questionable. Ride the Gus Bus unless we get Brees or Favre. No one else is going to do any better in this offense then Gus(other then the two Qb's just mentioned). This is a hard pill to swallow but deep down we all know that is a fact. If not then convince me otherwise. Not being a smart a$$ just some of my thoughts on or current Qb situation. Holla Back Y'all. Hargitt
