If Carolina becomes convinced it can't re-sign Julius Peppers, who becomes an unrestricted free agent next year and wants a boatload of money, and if the Vikings are willing to part with their first-round (No. 17) draft pick next month plus at least $20 million in guaranteed money, Minnesota might be able to trade for the star defensive end. -- Pioneer Press


Hmmm offer them JT for a 2nd and 3rd and call it a day.

This rumor makes even less sense than us trading JT to Minny for a 2nd and 4th. Why on earth would Minny give up their 1st round pick and fork over millions of their cap so they can sign a guy that will only slightly improve their defense, when they can sign a f/a (without giving up any picks) for a 1-3 year contract to fill in until they know what's going to happen to their current DE. Or better yet, they could get someone in the draft at a cheaper contract to do this role and who will be on their team a lot longer than Peppers. They need too much help at the DB and LB spot to give away picks.
 
And Viking fans wonder why their team can't do anything.
 
I almost feel bad for Minny, pretty bad a Phins fan has to say that but sheesh. That franchise is one bad personnel move after another. I like Peppers, but not for a 1st round pick and a destoryed cap.

you must not know who juluis peppers? This year was his only down year. Put him next to the Williams and that D-line is to be reckon with.
 
JT is older but IMO is Better then Peppers if we could get a First for JT i would be stocked
