Peppers vs Freeney

If you could choose one of these impact DE's......which would you take??

I'd take Peppers. I feel that he is the better all-around player.

I think Freeney is a media creation. Yes, he is a great pass rusher but he never has and never will play the run. I don't even think he is in the top 10 of defensive ends. There is more to being a defensive end then rushing the passer.

Wow.........I thought it would be a lot closer than this. I posted that I thought Freeney was overrated about a month ago and got blasted for it.

Freeney is just a rushing defensive he doesn't play the run well to Peppers.

Sacks and interceptions can be quite overrated in evaluating a player. Freeney is a monster pass rusher and underrated in the run but Peppers is a guy I would take over Taylor because of youth and size of course.

Peppers can play on/off turf and in the cold weather.....Freeney can't, that's why i would want Peppers.
