Free agent DT Jared Odrick has yet to hear from the Dolphins.

Odrick, 27, started 15-of-16 games this past season, grading out as a top-19 defensive tackle at Pro Football Focus. He received especially strong marks as a pass rusher, although he recorded just one sack. Odrick has 16.5 career sacks and has experience playing 4-3 defensive tackle and 3-4 end

### Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry is so driven that less than two weeks after the season ended, he already was at a training facility in Arizona (with Giants star and former LSU teammate Odell Beckham) working laboriously on improving his explosiveness.

“I had to beg him to take time off,” said his agent, Demarius Bilbo. “He wants to show people he’s an outside receiver, not just a slot receiver.”


### As of last week, the Dolphins still had not given impending free agent Jared Odrick any idea if they want him back.

I would like odrick back but at a reasonable price. Reading about Landry gets me pumped wasn't so sure about the pick at the time but he proved me wrong. Wish Wallace had that kind of drive.If he can become more explosive that would be sick, he and tannehill could grow together and hopefully become something special

I honestly believe Philbin doesn't want this guy back I also believe Jared does not want to be here. Either way it is a defesive tackle draft this year besides tons of DTs in FA out there.

Landry put so many veterans to shame. No doubt in my mind if this guy had the explosiveness top linespeed he would've easily been a top 10 pick. It's a shame you have someone like Wallace I'm willing to bet what half of Landry's heart,desire, and Berman burning commitment to be the best.

Last year stat wise Odrick had only 1 sack, 9 hits, and 18 hurries. However, the year before, with "BIG Paul" and a better Starks, he had 5 sacks, 13 hits, and 28 hurries. With this year's Starks along with Mitchell, he was not as effective or disruptive as he was with Solia and Starks in the rotation.

I believe we need to figure ou who else in going to be in the rotation with him before signing him.

I'm guessing Landry will attend the offseason throwing sessions with Tannehill and Wallace won't

Landry (and Beckham) will learn in time to heed his agent's advice to take time off after the season to give his body a chance to recover.

There is plenty of time during the off-season to work on your explosiveness and it's probably best to do when your body is rested and healthy.
