Jay Ratliff - DL - Free Agent

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins are among the teams interested in signing free agent DT Jay Ratliff.

Ratliff has ties to GM Jeff Ireland during their time in Dallas. With Paul Soliai and Randy Starks free agents after this season, it wouldn't be surprising if the Dolphins were willing to give him a multi-year deal. Ratliff has been cleared to resume football activities and could start working out for teams next week.

As a replacement for Starks or Soliai next year ,no that would be foolish. Would rather draft a young guy if they can't re-sign both DTs. If he's healthy enough then he might be decent depth.
 
That would be ****ty of them to give him a contract and not Soliai or Starks when both of them have played so well for us and deserve a long term deal.
 
If Ireland senses he is gone, he may just piss in our beer.

YEAH !! YEAH !! THATS HIM !! I Heard that he was coming in for a visit 3 days ago , and IF , AND THAT IS A BIG IF , hes healthy enough they are going to give him a multi year deal , :lol: lmao
 
would be great depth if we could get him cheap......SUPER CHEAP
