http://miami.cbslocal.com/2015/06/01/perkins-last-years-dolphins-had-more-talent/Praise has been showering throughout the Miami Dolphins’ offseason, but the Sun Sentinel’s Chris Perkins thinks last year’s team, one that didn’t make the playoffs, “man-for-man had more talent than this year’s team” despite the additions of some potential impact players in Ndamukong Suh, Jordan Cameron, and DeVante Parker, to name a few.
“My expectation is you’ve got to make the playoffs this year,” Perkins said on the Omar Kelly Show with Miko Grimes. “Right now, I don’t think they make the playoffs, though.”
As for the many new faces in the receiving corps — Michael Wallace, Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson are out with Kenny Stills, DeVante Parker, and Greg Jennings replacing them — Perkins isn’t so sure about the position being upgraded.
“I’ve seen those dudes do it multiple years in the NFL,” Perkins said of last year’s group. “These guys I’ve seen them have one good year. I don’t know if they’re good players or if they had a good year. So right now I still favor last year’s receivers.”
