Praise has been showering throughout the Miami Dolphins’ offseason, but the Sun Sentinel’s Chris Perkins thinks last year’s team, one that didn’t make the playoffs, “man-for-man had more talent than this year’s team” despite the additions of some potential impact players in Ndamukong Suh, Jordan Cameron, and DeVante Parker, to name a few.

“My expectation is you’ve got to make the playoffs this year,” Perkins said on the Omar Kelly Show with Miko Grimes. “Right now, I don’t think they make the playoffs, though.”
As for the many new faces in the receiving corps — Michael Wallace, Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson are out with Kenny Stills, DeVante Parker, and Greg Jennings replacing them — Perkins isn’t so sure about the position being upgraded.

“I’ve seen those dudes do it multiple years in the NFL,” Perkins said of last year’s group. “These guys I’ve seen them have one good year. I don’t know if they’re good players or if they had a good year. So right now I still favor last year’s receivers.”

I do not think I agree with this:err:

Chris Perkins - Looking for clicks.

Simple as that.

The WR core is upgraded no question about that. You can overhype Hartline all you want

I see Perk has been attending the Omar Kelly School of Journalism... Err, Clickbaiting.

Sensationalized journalism at it's finest. What a load of crap...

Of course this was somehow linked to Nomar Smelly....

We got rid of a dangerous weapon in Brian Hartline.... His YAC was phenomenal.

/end sarcasm

I think he's forgetting that our QB is Tannehill. Wallace is not suited for RT, plain and simple. He may have got 10 TD's last year but that's after targeting the guy who knows how many times, struggling to make Ryan's throws out of poor sync and effort. That's a lot of wasted downs that we can now spread around to better pass-catching percentage targets, who also happen to thrive in the red-zone. If we get inside the 20's, aqua-glasses on but I think we're gonna be scoring more often than not.

That is him just giving love to what must've been a couple of his friends in Wallace and Hartline. We (and he) all know that they were overpaid and underperforming. I have very little doubt that our wr's are better than last year. Oyr rbs and better. Both d and o-lines? Better. The only spot that may end up worse than last year would be lb IMO. Everything else is improved. Oh yeah except for kicker too

Could there be a worse show on radio than this?
