Why hasn't Grant been used to stretch the field?

Why did we throw a screen to Stills he is not the best RAC guy? He is the most fragile WR we have.

Why did we throw a fade route to Thomas when we have 9'11 Parker on the field?

Why are we throwing to Williams when Drake is the better back?

AAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Williams is averaging 2 ypc, Drake is averaging 1 ypc....they both suck.
I'd be weary of putting Grant out there with how freakin awful Cutler's ball placement has been. Grant is only 5'6" with a small catch radius.
Stills is the most fragile WR but he's also the fastest and he can get YAC IF the ball is placed well and on time....which has not been the case with Cutler at QB.
The fade route...well that's on Gase. I think Gase feels that Thomas is the same player he had in Denver and he's not.

I want Julius more involved with the community, bagging someone’s groceries or flipping someone’s burgers.
Funny but you have a point. Julius unfortunately has become one of Gases pet projects. He will probably stay with him way too long. We probably already reached the point of too long. Go with Gray. I would also throw Cutler in this category, Gase went to bat to get him here. It took some effort and he likely doesn't want to look silly by giving up so early

Gase wanted to "get Julius more involved". I think they tried to force a TD to him.

I don't consider it a forced play as much as a terrible throw. They got a good matchup. The throw has to be better to give the receiver a chance to make a play. If Cutler makes a decent throw and Thomas I guarantee people would be talking about a great play call to get a red zone threat TE matched up on a smaller CB.

Probably right. The throw was terrible and it also looked as though JT didn't know the play was to him either. Hand it to Ajai down there.

I think JT sees the CB play the fade and assumes that Cutler won't throw it. He did look surprised. When the CB drops into that position, the ball has to go back shoulder or low and outside to the body. You cannot just toss it up to the CB. That should have been an easy score.

Some teams have the fade down and its productive, we have not and are not one of them.

More creative play calling there. Hell, maybe a bootleg would have been a better option.

Lol, that’s cause JT hasn’t played with Cutler long enough. Coverage doesn’t stop Cutler.

Gotta stop teasing us with Jakeem...That TD at Minnesota in preseason did not take 2 seconds to throw.
