Probably gonna get a lot of hate here, but whatever. I should get some non-troll cred, as I promised to stay out of the official game day thread as not to ruin the game for you, and I held my part.

First, this game went pretty much as I thought the game could go, almost. I think I predicted 35-17 in that prediction thread. I also said that if Dion Lewis plays, he could make the difference between a close game and a win going away. I was right on that. I was wrong on one point though, where I said that if Miami lost, they could still hold their heads up and take something out of this, as this is NE and they are playing in Foxboro.

That was wrong. I didn't expect Miami to play with almost no emotion, except a little defense in the first half, and that opening drive of the second half. Other than that, it was total domination, and frankly, the Dolphins are lucky to come out with any points and the Patriots should be kicking themselves because they easily put up a 40 burger, and possible 50 with some better play calling in the first half.

I was so surprised at this Patriots defense, which is getting better by the week. But posting in this forum for the short week, I honestly could not believe how high you were on this coach and this team, after beating the AFC South. And coming off of last week, where you were outscored 26-3 in the second half, and coming into THIS game, I just didn't see it.. on a short week, the Patriots at home.

Folks, no matter what you think about Brady and the Patriots, you must admit one thing if you are honest with yourselves. The Patriots are one hell of a team. I don't mention Brady much because he's just in a world of his own with his play. I mean they score 30 by default, and everything else is gravy. I predicted 35 because I give them 30 every game, and since this is a home game on a short week, I figured 5 points would be a start after that.

I don't see this Patriots team losing if that offense keeps this up. Folks, it may come on the Dolphins shoulders, meeting Patriots at 15-0, to keep them from going undefeated again. That would be one hell of a game in Miami.

The stuff I read about Tannehill, Campbell, the Dolphins defense, their run game, that PDV (or whatever his initials are) was going to kill us, etc. I thought I was in the Twilight Zone because looking at these two teams, any disinterested party could only assume the Patriots were going to win this game.

Too bad about Wake though. That hurts. I never like to see anyone go out for the season. That is going to hurt your defense going forward.

In closing, last night you saw a championship team. Any other team in the AFC was going to get beat last night too, so it's not just about you. The Patriots are doing something special, again, and the rest of the NFL is just going to have to wait in line until BB and Brady are done.

As high as you guys were on Miami for this game/season after the last two, that's how high I am now on 16-0. I see exactly 3 games that could derail this plan- Jets again, Denver (although I don't really believe that), and you guys last game of the season. No matter your record at that point, you'll be playing to be part of history, and I expect you guys to play your hearts out.

I will leave now until then, and maybe reply to some posts, but to all the guys here who were cool, good luck with the rest of the season. To all the guys who acted like jerks, you deserve what you got!

Maybe the Patriots cheated last night, Maybe they didn't. The Cheatriots will always be shrouded in doubt, and rightfully so. I am looking forward to Josh McDaniels being terrible at some unsuspecting team in the next couple years. Cheers to the fans of Obvious cheaters, You are all probably fans of Bernie Madoff and other scumbags. Congrats

The Patriots would be a very ordinary team without Tom Brady, probably the worst in the division. So, enjoy Brady while you can, because you're in for a lot of unhappy years when he finally calls it quits.

To OP that was an honest assessment. Being a long time fan the past 2 games we won didn't mean much to me. I just wanted to see how they were going to respond after being punched in the mouth and to be honest I'm not even mad that we lost, it's how we played and lack of energy.

Weird thing about the NFL, more so than other sports. Every week is it's own thing. You can win 38-10 and 44-26 in back to back weeks, then tank the next. Then roll the next. Fans tend to get too high on the highs and too low on the lows. There are 9 games to go. A lot of people wanted to crown Campbell two days ago, now there are doubts. I just want to see how this season goes week to week. The man didn't get to draft the players that fit what he would do. He didn't get to install systems and coordinators he would like. He had coached two games and had to play Belicheck on a short week on the road. Yep, the game was ugly. But next week could be, and probably will be, totally different. I want to wait and see.
As far as the Patriots going undefeated, maybe. History dictates that no they won't, because it's only been done once. New England almost did it, but couldn't close the deal. (Too bad about that, but anyway) Will the Patriots win the Super Bowl? They have to get there first. And I don't suspect Green Bay is just going to roll over. You seem awfully confident in your team, which is fair and understandable, but you should be measured. A)No one likes a windbag B)You only won last year's Super Bowl because Seattle made the worst play call (Literally, no hyperbole here- name one) in Super Bowl history. Otherwise, the narrative this off-season would have been totally different.

That stadium is filled with bugs. They hear every word on the sidelines. Patriots will always be known for cheating. Period... Since you got caught cheating 4 times. I'm just wondering how many did they get away with. NFL really needs to investigate the stadium because the Patriots are on every single play. It's like they know the play... Cheaters

I wish I could say what I want to say to you. Pompous Pats fan thinks he has some hand in his favorite team's success.

Hey furious bee. I think I speak for most people here when I say take your head and shove it up your backside.

The Patriots COMPLETELY dominated the Dolphins. It was disgusting.

Why should he do that, nothing he said was untrue or nasty. Quit being a bunch of bitches. Jim Mandich said if you get your ass kicked say you got your ass kicked. I think that applies here.

Yes we got our asses kicked but nobody likes an arrogant fan stopping by to rub our noses in it.
A classy fan would say "good game, sorry about Wake, good luck the rest of the way" rather than shoot his mouth off about domination and 16-0.

It's cyclical ... we owned you for a bunch of years, and you have had the upper hand for a bunch. We'll get to owning you again soon.

Outside of Such, Wake, and Grimes nobody on the Miami defense is worth a roster spot on a good team. Crowing about beating Miami is like beating up a J.V team.

Good luck to you
