I know he didn't rush for 100 yds, but that's what we drafted D. Thomas for. Anyways, Ronnie Brown had just one game last year when he accumulated more than 94 total yds from scrimmage and scored a TD. And Ricky Williams had just two such games. So in one game Reggie Bush is on pace to quadruple their yardage production on a per game basis . I mean in just one game. Overall the R&R managed to rush for (Wait For It) a grand total of just 9 touchdowns, Reggie Bush in on pace to score 16.

And also he manage to gain more total yds from scrimmage and TD's than Ronnie and Ricky combine. Just saying.

I think you need to wait a couple weeks before you start talking about what people are on pace for. It's like in baseball when someone hits a homerun on opening day and the announcers joke that he is on pace for 162 HRs. Reggie very well may outproduce both of them, but on pace talk right now is pointless.

Um I know that, I was just making a point. I guess you got the joke with your baseball reference.

Lmao, well you struck out on that one. lol

Yep I thought you seriously meant Bush was going to get 16 TDs just because he got one Monday. The problem with the internet is there are enough idiots that it makes it hard to tell what is an obvious joke and what is just a dumb statement.

However I think Bush TPC wil soar on artificial turf - his chance of injury also soars - how many artificial surfaces we play on this year...?

That would be 0. Unless Dallas is artificial I don't remember if they put in real grass or not.

Well.

I'm not sure if you want to compare R Bush to what R & R did last season. And R Bush cannot touch either of them career wise.

Last season, Ronnie and Ricky split the carries, in this game R Bush played 75 of 76 downs. He was the ONLY RB to catch passes and had all but two of the runs. He caught more passes then any Dolphin WR or TE etc but had less running yards then Chad Henne did. Chad Henne also had a longer run then Bush did and a better YPC. Monday night, R Bush only had a 3.4 yard per carry average and that is less then Ronnie and Ricky's YPC had from last season.

Giants/Jets stadium is artificial surface

These are the stadiums that use 100% real grass. The rest are some sort of field turf or combo type hybrid grass/field turf

doesnt matter how reggie bush compares career wise. he is a clear upgrade at this point. i love what he brings to this offense. its up to the coordinators to use him correctly. u can run him up the middle but not like we did. the guy does need just a little more space. and thats fine. thats what he is. mix in some draw plays. more screens. oh wait we cant lol cause we dont have active guards. thats the front offices fault. not reggies. this guy is a fantastic back. he is such a threat

he will produce - no doubt if we put him in a position to succeed. he is limited by the talent around him right now tho. and if we are gonna run him up the middle these guys have got to create holes.

so guys if he doesnt put up numbers dont start bitchin in here. he is a clear upgrade. the guy has tremendous talent. hes go to be used correctly. and he isnt being used correctly right now yet.

theyve got to give another back carries also. he has no business playing every single play of the game.

If he is such a threat why did the Saints let him do? O wait, it is because they replaced him with Darren Sproles who had 254 total yards compared to Reggie Bush's 94 total yards.

Darren Sproles not only had a better YPCarry rushing average, but he had a better YPCatch in the passing game also. Sproles had 75 yards on 7 catches while Bush only had 56 yards on 9 catches.

So forget R Bush being better then both Ronnie and Ricky, he is having problems just matching D Sproles.

bush simply fits this offense in a diverse role which can kill teams.

his knock? injury. what if he doesnt get injured or slowed down? well then, we simply have a more exciting guy in open field.
