Semi-Good article although I believe Prisco fails to register the dramatic changes that the Phins defense has undergone.
But he's got a point. We promised to pass more. We did against the Texans, then we lost. Seems like as far as offense goes, Dolphins ARE doing what they know best. Run Ricky Run.
MIAMI -- All the head scratching and pondering Miami Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt did this offseason, trying to gauge how a team that led the AFC in rushing and total defense didn't make the playoffs last season, led to talk that things would change in Miami.
The ball would go up in the air more, the predictability would go by the wayside and the Dolphins would not be a team that relied strictly on the running game -- which means heavy doses of Ricky Williams -- and a good defense.
They revert to what they know best, a running game and good -- make that great -- defense. Miami took a Buffalo team that came into Sunday night's game outscoring its opponents 69-17 and made it look like an offense that could play three months' worth of games and still not score...
