So he is behind Vince Young, Mike Vick, Matt Leinart, Tony Romo, Eli Manning and even a backup QB Matt Schaub? I generally agree with most things P. King has to say, but this list is kinda ridiculous.

I re-typed the list to make it easier to read. Check out the whole article

To see Brees that high keeps on making me think WHAT IF???

Wehey, we haven't been this high on a QB ranking list for ages!!

Young is where? Haha!

Cutler and Romo are way too high, they haven't been playing long enough to prove they deserve it.

Penning, Losman, and Vick are below average, should be down in the bottom third.

Trent should be in front of all of these guys. I don't think he is all that special at this point in his career, but at the least he is average, and the these guys aren't that good, or are still unproven. He has also seen and done it before, more than some guys ranked way ahead of him.

Horrible list.

I am not a Green fan. He is too old and would have been cut.

Having said that this list is for production for the 2007 season and Green will be around the 12-16 mark

Its Peter King...Thats a HUGE red flag right there. I rarely ever agree with anything he has to say when it comes from an analysis standpoint...ESPN is only good at reporting news that has already been reported

#24? That's right on our average from the last 9 years with Huard, Gus, Feeley, Feidler, Culpepper, and Joey.

Wehey, we haven't been this high on a QB ranking list for ages!!

it makes me think that Wanny went out on the street and grabbed random schmoes and said, heres a ball, you throw it to the guy with the same color jersey. but in turn he mistakes the other teams jersey for his own.

Although there is alot I don't agree with on the list, I can see why he would list Green at 24. I guess some people think he is just goijg to spring back into form from two years ago. Its highly unlikley he will throw for 4000 yards for two reasons one he is older which is not as big a factor as Cameron's offense has not produced 4000 yards with some pretty good Qb's that I would rate ahead of of Green at this stage. His passing yards have averaged around 3300 yards the last 3 years.

As for the comment on Losman being rated that high being a joke. He was the 11th highest rated Qb in the league last year and you would only think he will improve this year. It's funny that board members contually slam Losman even though last year he was better than any Qb we have trotted on the field since Marino. The guys the same age as Beck and has already had a fairly good NFL season. i'm sure if he produced for us like that last year we would have been pretty damn happy.

There are some major questions in the rankings though. Kitna, Young and Cutler top 10 ugh. Favre and Shawab i think were too high and Alex Smith and Rex Grossman should improve this year.

I've said it before and Rex Grossman vindicates my stance. You dont need a "franchise" QB to win in the NFL today. You need a good game manager and a guy that limits the mistakes (which is debateable about Grossman, but the point is made) to go with a strong Defense

His analysis is still very questionable at best

I disagree. King is one that gets things right most of the time. You may disagree with a couple of choices, but based on last year's performance he's pretty accurate. Remember Green didn't have a good season last year.
