I know alot of people say he chokes in the postseason and certainly this year so far he isn't playing good. but take a look at his past postseasons

2003

3 games - 106.4 QB rating, 918 yards, 65% comp, 9 TDs and 4 INTs

2004

2 games - 107.4 QB rating, 587 yards, 72% comp, 4 TDs and 2 INTs

2005

1 game - 90.9 QB rating, 290 yards, 58% comp, 1 TD and 0 INTs

I think he is held to a higher standard than anyone else is and it's unfair, he has performed but his defense has lost him games in the past. this year he has the defense all of the sudden so lets see what he can do

in 04, all 4 of those TDs came in week 1. he was 27-42 238 0 TDs 1 INT in round 2 loss. a 69 QB rating.

in 03, he threw 4 INTs in the AFC Championship, good for a QB rating of 35.5.

in 02, he was blown out 41-0 in round 1 where he had 31.2 QB rating.

You know Colin Cowherd put it in perfect perspective earlier, Manning is the A-Rod of the NFL, He is a great QB, but at crunch time he thinks way too hard and tries way too hard. And he chokes.

I think much of it is deserved, but it's interesting, when his game has been off in this year's playoffs, pundits are now rallying around him because his team has been winning.

But really, the Colts defense won the last two games for him (I can't believe I'm typing those words).

Coming into this year he was 3-6 as a starter and led his team to an average of 11 PPg in the 6 losses. his postseason reputation was well deserved and way too mnay people blamed other people besides Peyton when he deserved most of the blame. Now he hasn't been good in 2 games but he's won and if he can beat NE then win it all the postseason failures become a thing of the past.

what no one even mentions is he had never led a team to a champsionship in school level ,college level or NFL till now....so now he has always had awesome stat but sadly the teams which has played has never won the top honour in their respective level.

I still think Peyton is just as good if not better than Tom Brady...he just doesn't have much luck in the big games, whereas Brady gets every call and break.

You mean from high school and college too?Funniest stat is the next year he went pro a unknown qb won the national championship with nearly the same team in college.
