this thread is going to get blasted.

peyton is a 1st ballot HOF, tebow lets be real, was a great story last year, but many of his games were games pulled out of his ass.

i will say this though, tebow did have a better 1st playoff game with denver last year than manning had today. no one will argue that, but lets not put tebow and peyton in same sentence
 
No doubt they don't belong to the same class, but it is interesting that for all the upgrading Denver did with Peyton, they got no further in the playoffs than with Tebow who took a horrible team (yes, they were 2-4 without him) to the same place.

dude tebow needs defenses to play great to win. If tebow played in this game with the defense played tonight..it wouldve been a blow out. TEbow can't march team into pts and drives and i doubt especially against ravens. SEriously this game should've not went into overtime..that was such a bad play on the ball..all flacco could do was get a deep play or else it was over. nobody expected that. If manning played with the defense that played last year and only allowed 13 pts on bens steelers. this game wouldve been over. Manning can and has to carry teams, tebow needs help from all sides and can't carry a team on his back. he can inspire them to play better, he needs a great defense. Manning made a big mistake, but it was a game because of him..tebow would've been over with trying to carry the offense on his back

have peyton playing on denvers last years defense and how they performed and i guarentee they win. Have tebow playing on the team tonight with them getting torched andi highly doubt tebow is scoring pts to tie the game to 35..
 
peyton did blow it at the end and im not trying to make excuses for him. he deserves blame. But to say tebow won a playoff game and compare them is stupid..because they are different situations. Manning was asked to carry the broncos this game..when the defense was playing great most of the time. he does and can. tebow doesn't carry the teams offense. he makes clutch drives but thats when the defense keeps the game close and low scoring..not when its 35 pts and the secondary gets torched. tebow is not asked to and i doubt can carry a teams offense on his shoulder. the broncos secondary needed to play better..they were awful today
 
Denver got so exposed today. Their schedule was CAKE; they didn't beat anyone good in the last 2 months. Their DEs (Miller and Dumervil) are only good when they have a lead (like Freeney and Mathis in Indy). Peyton choking in the playoffs isn't a new development.
 
Seriously. I would LOVE to be in a division with SD, KC, and Oakland and let someone else play New England twice a year for a change.
 
Tebow sucks and is irrelevant, but Peyton will never win another SB so in hindsight I'm glad things went how they did. Manning just chokes when it counts, I'm glad he chose Denver and not Miami. I think he knows Brady is his daddy and was scared to play him twice a year.
 
The players all played harder with Tebow! He is a leader of men! Payton will never be that kind of leader!

Two things:

First, Peyton Manning has not been a consistently great playoff QB in his career.

Second, anyone who thinks that today's performance wasn't a direct result of his neck injury and subsequent nerve damage is nuts. That overtime interception only traveled a few yards but it seemed to hang there forever. You could see that one coming a mile away even on the television.

Manning is partly to blame for the loss. That INT in OT was obviously killer. He didn't look that crisp passing in the cold. What about the defense giving up the 70 yd TD pass with under a minute to play? The safety completely ****ed that up.

It was priceless to read comments from Gator fans on so many forums last night, after they desperately had rooted for the Ravens, as if that had any relevance to Tebow and the NFL.
