Lots of speculation that this could be Peyton Manning's last year in the NFL. If that's the case, might Manning be interested in coaching? Could be a perfect fit as offensive coordinator in Miami.

So we bring in a guy who has never coached at any level whatsoever as OC? Thatll be awesome.

Peyton can go straight in to TV and is a superstar why would he want to be OC for the Miami Dolphins lol

I wouldn't be surprised if Peyton still wants to play. Osweiler is the future, apparently, in Denver so I can see Peyton getting cut loose and trying to latch on somewhere else.

What is Dan Marino's issue? He would make a fiery coach. He just doesn't have the passion huh?

Maybe he just doesn't want to coach. He's not obligated to do anything with the Dolphins, let alone take on the responsibility of being an NFL coordinator.

Yet he sits in the stands next to Steven Ross looking all but an advisor. He certainly looks like he has a lot of input to give.

Manning might BUY the titans

but there is absolutely zero chance that he becomes an OC for the Miami Dolphins

I heard hes all in on this...loves the idea of making $500k a year...no pay cut concerns

Yeah, I'd have a huge problem letting quite possibly the smartest QB to ever play the game call plays. Huge downgrade from Sherman and Lazor.

Peyton Manning's brain is the best weapon in football. If he wanted to come in on our offensive coaching staff as the QBs coach or OC under Gase's supervision, you absolutely bring him in.

But Peyton doesn't stirke me as a guy looking to go into coaching right now.

The premise is ridiculous, but if Peyton didn't work with Gase for very long, so even if he decided to coach it wouldn't be in Miami. He has no strong ties here.

I agree he has an incredible mind for football, but I just dont see how anyone could hire someone who has literally never been on a coaching staff in any capacity whatsoever as OC, even if he wanted to.
