...We've heard scuttlebutt in league circles that Fins owner Wayne Huizenga was prepared to fire Saban on the spot if there were any truth to the rumors....

Do you really think that Wayne would practically eat that huge salary of Saban's if these rumors were true? If so, he's REALLY committed to not breaking this team's chemistry

Just a way for Wayne to let Nick (or actually Sexton) know he doesn't want to put up with that nonsense.

For a guy that had a hard time getting rid of Wannstache, I don't think he'd be that quick to pull the trigger.

lets just hope wayne relized his HUGE mistake by keeping wanny
around so long and wont do the same with nick. i doubt it to,
but miracles do happen from time to time.

Come on Redneck Friend, don't ya think it's about time to move on with this. Ya don't like saban, that's your choice, but it's begining to read like a broken record. There is NOTHING anyone can do for you on this MB to change things.

A huge majority of the posters on this site disagree with your view. I'm one of them. You have every right to voice your opinion and you have done so, to the point where your post are annoying.

You have a lot of passion. Dedicate it to getting that fence built so we can all rest easy at night. It's time to move on past the head coach issue because that's not changing anytime soon.

Amen!!

I agree with Nick's logic, even though it may just be coachspeak. I don't see any way that he would leave the college ranks for the NFL, then return to a college job, even if it is Bama. There aren't any college coaches that make within a couple million a year of how much he is making here.

WH is a business man and business men are not in the business of losing money.

You took the words right out of my mouth :D

I always ask him who would he rather have as a coach, and there is never an answer...

I'm a Saban supporter. Not blind faithed though, I'll call coach out on his mistakes unlike some of the glute smoochers around here, but I believe he is more than capable of getting the job done. That said, I have an answer to your question and it's Bill Parcells. Just an opinion.

He isn't exactly available...

I don't think Wayne will fire Saban. Not with the improvement we've had recently. I wonder if Mike Shula would be a better OC than Mularkey now that he's available.

So what do you mean by this quote? I'm confused...If these rumors JUST SO HAPPENED to be true, do you think he will or won't fire Saban? He's DEFINITELY gonna lose money by firing him
